Bridal diaries: Sharmila Faruqui

With a grand fairytale wedding spread over 15 days of celebration in Karachi, Pakistan’s popular politician; Sharmila Faruqui tied the knot with long time beau Hisham Riaz; a former banker and now the owner of a local news channel ‘Capital Tv’.

Sharmila has got to be the most popular PPP member across the media, and seeing her countless appearances it was pretty obvious from what she wore that the girl always did have a flair for eastern fashion. And hence her wedding constituted no less than the dream team of Pakistan! It had to be the best; with dresses by Bunto Kazmi, make-up by Mariam Khawaja and photography by the country’s numerous top notch photographers including the very popular and very talented Irfan Ahson who flew in from Lahore, it was like a mini bridal couture week with Sharmila as the show stopper every. single. day!

So what did this beautiful damsel wear? Let me guide you through!
